Big, bold necklaces and chandelier earrings paired with designer outfits grabbed as much of the limelight as the Hollywood superstars who wore them, at the recent Oscars 2017.
White diamonds paired with white metal, long layered necklaces and earrings that ranged from single stone creations to long drops shone on the red carpet at the show, as did the names of their celebrity designers, from diamond jewellers Harry Winston, Neil Lane, Fred Leighton, Chopard to our very own Nirav Modi.
Among the many stars who flaunted these expensive baubles was actor Nicole Kidman who shone in about 119 carats of Harry Winston jewels that included Spinel Drop earrings set in platinum and 18k gold, a Winston Cluster Pear-shaped diamond ring and a fabulous 1963 Winston Cluster diamond bracelet.

Actor Dakota Johnson also opted for a Cartier 1958 vintage statement necklace, pairing it with a 1946 Cartier vintage ring encrusted with a 2.95-carat ruby and diamonds set in gold-platinum.
